Work packages
There are five work packages in Listen2Baby, each addressing one of the following objectives:
- To investigate and describe the range of IA devices, counting methods, and training used, and the frequency and scale of any audits of IA practice
- To describe the practice of IA and identify the facilitators of and challenges to midwives following national guidance
- Explore and describe women's and partners' experience of IA
- Develop an experience-based quality improvement toolkit to improve midwives' IA practice based on the findings of one and three
- Test the feasibility and acceptability of this toolkit, develop a systematic, theory-driven implementation plan, and evaluate effectiveness.
