Phase 3 up and running at Himachal Pradesh

In Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, Phase 3 of the Perinatal Mental Health Study (PMHS) is well underway. The research team at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (DRPGMC) are following up study participants three months after the birth of their babies to ask women about their mental health and to assess infants' development. These visits are taking place in the community and within participants' homes. The purpose of this phase of the study is to understand whether maternal mental health problems during pregnancy or after delivery might have any impact on infants' growth or developmental outcomes.

Congratulations to the study team. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participating women and their infants for their continued involvement and time.
