NPEU Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) – positive news following the NIHR CTU Support Funding Review

The NIHR CTU Standing Advisory Committee met on 14 December 2012 to review our CTU's annual activity report. The aim of this review was to consider our CTU's activities over the last year, determine whether our current funding level was appropriate, and discuss future funding.

As a result of the review, the NPEU CTU will be issued with a new contract in the spring covering the 5 year period (2013-2018), subject to the usual conditions i.e. satisfactory performance and annual review. This is very good news indeed! Ed Juszczak (Head of Trials).
