About the neoGASTRIC Trial
The neoGASTRIC trial uses an opt-out consent process to make participation as easy as possible for families. This means that if your baby meets the eligibility criteria, they will be automatically included in the trial unless you decide to opt-out.
How You'll Be Informed
You will be informed about the neoGASTRIC Trial via the information given to you by site staff and posters available in the neonatal units. You can choose to opt-out at any point.
How to Opt-out
If you don't want your baby to take part in neoGASTRIC, please inform a member of the neonatal team. Your baby will continue to receive the routine care of that unit.
