Biography

I joined the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit in July 2024 in the role of Trial Administrative Assistant/Data Coordinator, working primarily on the set up and running of the MAMA trial, a study looking at the outcomes of stopping or continuing inflammatory arthritis medication during pregnancy. Prior to joining the NPEU, I initially qualified as a Physiotherapist, briefly working within the area of Orthopaedics. I then moved into the area of Oncology Clinical Research in 2011, working as a patient facing Clinical Research Practitioner, leading a variety of research trials, of which many changed our clinical practice in regards to improvements in both diagnostic and patient treatment pathways. I am now looking forward to a new challenge working with the team at the NPEU on the MAMA trial.
